Carl Shields has been officiating wedding ceremonies and vow renewals in the Banff, Lake Louise, and Kananaskis areas since 1990. Carl is a teacher and an avid outdoor and sport enthusiast. In 1998, Carl was chosen to officiate "Lisa and Don's" ceremony at the Banff Springs Hotel which was aired on "The Wedding Story". His sincerity, sense of humour and calm manner ensures that the Bride and Groom will be relaxed and thoroughly enjoy one of the most special days of their lives.

Ceremonies may range from the large traditional to the smaller, more intimate and casual style. Choose from scenic outdoor locations, mountain tops, the back country or one of the many beautiful hotels or lodges in the area.
